Workshop: Pretty in Paisley, Catherine Redford

Use Catherine’s pre printed design to learn your choice of embroidery stitches. The class can be tailored to fit the skill level of the group. Everyone welcome!

Start by learning, or being reminded of, some basic hand embroidery stitches while working on a specially designed pre-printed panel and then learn some novel embellishment techniques and trickier stitches.  We’ll also discuss choosing and transferring designs for future projects and look at lots of samples. Enjoy the relaxed tempo and reconnect with handwork!

Supply List:

This class has a required kit. It includes the printed design, hand dyed perle cotton threads, needles and other notions and a full color stitch guide. $40 Students should bring small scissors. They can bring a small light and thimble/hoop if they usually use them.
